T Bank is pleased to announce the launch of 1% Cash Incentive Scheme by the Royal Monetary Authority for Non-Resident Bhutanese (NRB) remitter(s), who live, work, or study overseas. It is being introduced to encourage convertible currency remittance inflows for enhancing foreign currency reserves and promoting savings & investments. Further, it is to offset the transaction costs exclusively for NRBs while remitting money to their personal accounts or to their family members in Bhutan through the banking channel (SWIFT) or TRemit (Prabhu Money Transfers) and TPayRemit from Australia. The scheme will be piloted for a period of 1 year from 1st June 2021 till 31st May 2022.
